With over 40 years of experience we have built and worked on homes all over the north state. In that time we have completed many unique jobs and overcome almost any possible challenge that can occur. We also have an established relationship with all local planning and building departments. Knowing what they expect, makes plan submittal & permit acquisition a painless process. All Phases of Construction
Lawrence A. Adams construction is fully licensed to provide and manage construction at all phases. From pouring the foundation to painting the trim, we have managed jobs and subcontractors at every level of construction & remodel. We pride our selves in having great communication skills with both the people doing the work and the clients paying for it. Our jobs are executed smoothly and efficiently with the highest standards of quality.
Full Set Of Permit Ready Plans
All our jobs begin with creating a full set of permit ready plans based off our design. From there we handle the entire permit process for you, from the first application to the final inspection. If custom engineering is required with have several third party licensed engineers to approve or modify plans.
Proper Prep & Protection
We pride ourselves in running clean, fast and efficient job sites. All inhabited areas will be separated by a three millimeter plastic barrier to prevent the spread of dust and debris. All finished flooring surfaces will be covered with several layers of protective Red Rosin Paper and heavy canvas tarps in high traffic areas. Carpeted areas will additionally be protected with self adhering plastic Carpet Shield. The Job site will be cleaned at the end of each day and waste removed from the premises as necessary. We find that proper preparation and protection goes a long way to keeping our sites clean and our customers happy.
Title 24 Compliance
Beginning in 2020, all new homes in California will be required to be designed for net-zero-energy operation. Known as “Title 24,” these standards went into effect on January 1, 2017, and set minimum energy-saving requirements for new buildings and renovations to ensure new and existing buildings achieve energy efficiency and preserve outdoor and indoor environmental quality. Lawrence A. Adams construction has invested in the necessary training to meet these requirements and is already experienced with their application.
